The Stickley Family

First off I just have to say that I had so much fun at this photo shoot! Cris and Emilie wanted to have photos taken of their two girls, Juneau and Nova. They wanted to use some of the photos for Nova's 1st birthday party... an extravagant event from what I heard. With her birthday in mind I brought along some balloons, gift bows and colorful lollipops. I think Emilie and I were on the same page because she brought some of the cutest props! Pettiskirts for the girls (made by her Mom mind you), stuffed animals, Ohio State jerseys, a little blue rocking chair and more. There wasn't a dull moment as we had so many sets to go through. The girls seemed to be having a blast though, Nova with the balloons and Juneau with the lollipops- plural. ;)

Thanks to Cris, Emilie and Emilie's sister for helping to make the photo shoot run so smoothly. The girls are absolutely full of life, love and beauty. You guys were a dream to work with! :)

The Princess Leia look.

Nova was obsessed with the balloons, lol.
She would get these little bursts of excitement and let out a squeal, it was so cute! :)

Mom and Dad are teaching the girls the Ohio State cheer. Here's Juneau's "O" and "H".

Aren't these the cutest pettiskirts!?!? Emilie said her mom got the sewing instructions from Martha Stewart, so I found the website. Click here if you're interested in making one.
Now, if I can just convince my Mom to make me a few for future photo shoots. ;)

Both of the girls were so funny with these lollipops, but Juneau in particular.
That girl loved the lollipops. When Nova was finished Juneau didn't hesitate to work
on that one too (as seen in the top left photo). It was hilarious.

  2. LOVE LOVE LOVE the dress up shots. When you guys live closer (if you do) I so want to do something like that Eva and Izzy. Pictures of them having a tea party and playing dress up and having a slumber party under their covers. So sweet. I just love all the colors in this shoot. The lollipop idea is classically cute!
